Bathe no more than every 4-6 weeks, brush occasionally with a soft-bristled brush to remove dead hair, and feed a good-quality diet with no wheat, corn, soy, or non-specific ingredients.

Question by janet s: Advice please if there is anyway I can treat my Greyhounds coat ?
Adopted my second Greyhound almost 6 weeks ago Bald patches on his hind quaters have grown new hair so that is a good sign I think .He does need much grooming as he is malting alot which I put down to central heating however when grooming he appears to have only what I can only describe as Dandruff. He has one codliver oil capsule each morning and sardines in oil twice a week at breakfast. Is there anything else I can do as if his skin is so dry I cannot think that it is very comfortable Thankyou

You could try tea tree oil. or use a rake comb to stimulate his skin, or rub him with olive oil(makes a very shiny hound)
