I have a 6 year old greyhound that I recently adopted I have never had a dog before :S
And I had hung my coat up after a walk, in the pocket I had some treats. I left her and when i had come back she had pulled the coat down, got into the pocket however while trying to get into it she ate the zip…
I dont know what to do, the zip wasnt too big only about the size of a fingernail. Will she bo ok or will I need to take her to the vet?

Adopted my second Greyhound almost 6 weeks ago Bald patches on his hind quaters have grown new hair so that is a good sign I think .He does need much grooming as he is malting alot which I put down to central heating however when grooming he appears to have only what I can only describe as Dandruff. He has one codliver oil capsule each morning and sardines in oil twice a week at breakfast. Is there anything else I can do as if his skin is so dry I cannot think that it is very comfortable Thankyou

You could try tea tree oil. or use a rake comb to stimulate his skin, or rub him with olive oil(makes a very shiny hound)
